I see them as different ways of looking at the same data, depending on what the objective is. For example, the calendar view that shows daily breaches of WHO guidelines might be useful for highlighting how bad air quality is in general, while a comparison tool such as above might be useful for looking at the impact on air quality when an LTN is put in place (or removed).

How do I explain to people that there is a new way of presenting data when I am trying to get them to base camp?
